When in doubt - crop it!

When in doubt - crop it!
crop big If you are feeling ab-fabulous, or maybe just enjoying the UK summer (when the sun actually shines), one wardrobe staple you don’t want to miss is the Crop top. It’s been around for a while now, but it seems every time we turn away for two seconds, another collection has appeared, all more exciting than the last. Teamed with pretty much anything hi-waisted or low-cut, the crop top allows you to bare as much or as little flesh as you want in peek-a-boo fashion. Ok, I need to get one – what next? So you have accepted you need a crop top to see you through the summer season – next comes the question of, what style to go for. Bralet? Loose fit? Long sleeves or short sleeves? Plain or printed, or what about lace? And what about on the bottom? A midi skirt? Wide fit trousers? Ah the options! At iKrush we offer them all but can give you a helping hand in deciding what crops work best with each trend of this summer season. CropBlog Image2 Monochrome and bright colours are taking over this season, with everyone who is anyone rocking the trends. Beyoncé makes a noteworthy entrance in stripes and neon orange pointed courts, showing how well the trend staples work together. Short patterned crops can look great with a tan, so keep them in mind if you are off to party in the sun. With a casual look in mind you might go for ripped look denim short-shorts, and a cute pair of detailed sandals. For a more dressed up look team an Aztec print crop with a skater skirt or harem pants, and of course a pair of wedges or heels. What is best about the crop is the feeling of pride a girl feels when showing off that area of her body. It’s the part of the body that is hardest to maintain, and thus when it looks good – of course we want to show it off to the world. What if your stomach isn’t quite there yet? Here at iKrush we’ve been exercising our little legs off trying to get ‘beach’ ready, but we accept our stomachs may never look like hers in the advert. If you’re the same - don’t fret – as long as you make sure your crop top fits your shoulders and your bust properly, and just show as much skin as you feel comfortable showing, you can still rock this trend with the best of them.
