We're Allover Oversized Knits.

We're Allover Oversized Knits.
Knitwear is an obvious essential in every A/W wardrobe. For 2013 we have to think BIG. Literally. Many A/W 2013 catwalks showed chunky, oversized knitwear in on trend hues. Screen Shot 2013-08-27 at 13.08.20 At Rag and Bone (Top Left) It was all about the preppy lookwith a grey, black and maroon pattern. Red is on trend this season as is the school girl vibe. Make sure you don’t go too Britney with this style- Pigtails are a no no! Leather look trimmings are also on trend, giving a chic edge to the oversized style. In his signature simple style, Alexander Wang (Top Right) showed loose fitting knits, with a focus on layering and soft textures. We love the masculine tailoring featuring the tricky skirt over trousers trend. At IKRUSH we aren’t sure if we will dare to give this one a go! Will you? If you want a hint more colour whilst sticking with the A/W palette, look to Victoria Beckham’s collection (Bottom Left). Again maroon is the key colour, but this time we see it done using another of this seasons trends- blocking. Allover colour may seem dull, but an interesting cocoon shape keeps interest and ladylike accessories maintain a feminine style. The jury was out on Marc Jacobs (Bottom Right) cable knit piece. Don’t get us wrong the jumper is super cute and would look great with jeans but we just aren't sure on the bottomless styling. 1. on the list is a stand out chic bag. We love our Fantina Clutch with a bold colour and a chic edge to keep the look glam.
  2. Ripped jeans keep the look casual showing off your legs. Try the IKRUSH Binky Jeans for a a darker denim taking you from day to night with ease.
  3. Chelsea boots are making a come back with our Chelley Boots looking great and feeling comfy, a definite yes for this season.
