The Shake Shack Opens in Covent Garden

This summer marked the exciting opening of the UK’s first Shake Shack, in London’s Covent Garden Piazza. Yay! All the way from New York, Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group was excited to bring the USA mouth watering burgers, hot dogs and frozen custard desserts to the capital city and we couldn’t be happier about it. He said: “For years we’ve been looking for an excuse to spend more time in London, and it feels great to have found a golden ticket.” The famous menu features all the Shake Shack favourites including the signature ShackBurger®, SmokeShack™, ‘Shroom Burger and Shack-cago Dog with the majority of ingredients and menu items being UK sourced. Having been to the Shake Shack in New York numerous times we couldn’t recommend it more. Despite a long queue guaranteed, especially at the weekend, our meals have always been worth the wait! We hear the queues have been long at Covent Garden, which is to be expected especially given the sunshine – but we say, if something’s busy, join them, it must be good! Have you been?
