Navy the New Way.

Navy the New Way.
Navy, one of those colours that have faaaar to many rules to fully enjoy right? You can’t wear it with black, or brown and really it’s just not the best party look, is it? Well guess what girls, this season the navy rule book is getting flung out the window. It’s time to enjoy it and navy can look great no matter what your skin tone, so your safe even once your holiday tans have faded! On the catwalks, navy played a part in many trends, at Chloe we saw some feminine tailoring reminiscent of the school girl vibe. This seasons cocoon shape worked well with Navy at Victoria Beckham, giving a great office look. The best bit? Both looks teamed it with black and it totally worked too!   Screen Shot 2013-09-05 at 09.29.28   Navy being dull was also not a problem with many dresses worthy of your holiday party sporting the colour. At Alberta Ferretti a cute prom style skirt teamed with simple capped sleeves looked great (again with black!). Christopher Kane took an edgier approach, with a this sparkly, textured dress, great for the more boyish of figures. We think we have came up with two looks to cover you whether its holiday party or just a night out with the girls! Our first looks works with our navy disco pants an absolute must for your wardrobe this season. We teamed them with super chunky heels a chiffon shirt- tie it up at the waist or wear it loose, whichever works for you! Our Satchel goes great too, and is a super practical size. A navy satchel this time to tie in the colours and gorgeous black shoes in this seasons best style, got to love the 90’s look!   Screen Shot 2013-09-05 at 10.09.54   By Mhairi O’Neill @IKRUSH_Mhairi
