Love is in the Air

It may be nowhere near Valentine's Day but that doesn't mean that you can't incorporate a little romance into your wardrobe with this season's latest trend: heart prints. From animal prints to polka dots and floral patterns, prints have been huge in the fashion world lately. The heart print has had a makeover this season and if you want to inject this print into your everyday wardrobe, you should look to celebs like Emmy Rossum and Miranda Kerr for inspiration.

Emmy Rossum has got the trend right by  pairing her floaty heart printed dress with block coloured accessories- a black clutch bag and heels. Pairing the busy pattern with block colours keeps the print the main focus of the outfit.

Burberry offered a sophisticated take on the trend by putting the heart pattern on a dark maroon or brown background. Take inspiration from Burberry and opt for heart accessories, a subtle way to style the look.  Our Misty Heart Buckle and Diamante Watch is a great nod to the trend.

Pippa Middleton chose this gorgeous grey mini dress for her interpretation of the look. Pairing it with a black blazer and pumps is a sophisticated take on this youthful motif.

Whether you choose bold statement hearts or  dainty heart  prints, this is a trend that will  work for everyone. Our  Manon Casual Aztek  Heart Print Top can be worn with jeans  and a  pair of boots as we approach the colder months.

If you want a less feminine look, look to Miranda Kerr for  inspiration. Miranda toughens up her heart print blouse and  cardigan combo by adding black leather trousers and a  leather maroon bag.

Without a doubt, heart prints give a playful and unique touch to clothes, perfect for the transition from summer to autumn.
