Le Femme Grunge

Le Femme Grunge
Tartan gets a chic makeover as this season focuses on wearing the grunge look with feminine accents. A/W 2013 catwalks sees Saint Laurent with girlish shapes and tartan fabric and Gucci taking a grown up approach to lady like grunge, power suits and nipped in waists give sleek twist to the trend. EWatson GQ MqueenThe celebs have also gotten in on the act! Emma Watson was seen at the GQ awards earlier this year clad in tartan, with her oh so lady like signature look still in tact. As always, Emma stayed ahead if the curve, doing grunge her own way, and setting the trend for this season. Teaming lady like courts with a leather jacket gave a good balance of feminine meets grunge for her accessories. Tartan worked well in a figure flattering shape, giving curves in all the right places and steering away from traditional slouchy unflattering grunge shapes.
